In my last post, I said that 90 percent of the work I had done over the course of my woodworking career has ended up in the Dumpster. There is another trend afoot. OK, go ahead and smack yourself in the head. But this trend is a byproduct of reality. The reality, in this case, is that we are realizing that we cannot sustain a throw away mentality much longer. (more…)
For years now, we have been bombarded with economic doomsday scenarios. We were convinced of the need to funnel massive infusions of cash into banks, investment firms and major corporations, the failure of which would cause an economic disaster of biblical proportions. (more…)
